The Annual Fall Foliage Cancer Conference originally began
as the Annual Western North Carolina Cancer Conference held at the Grove Park
Inn, Asheville, NC on October 7, 1989 with a topic of "Management of
Common Malignancies Within the Community Setting." The conference
continues to this day as a way to bring a faculty of physicians, distinguished
as teachers and oncologists, to share their knowledge and experience with
practicing physicians and allied health in the community setting. The conference
began as a local/regional conference and has grown into a national conference
with the reputation of inviting speakers who are top physicians in their fields
from prestigious medical schools/institutions.
